Ian Davis
Former Site Director - Customer Service, eBay
Ian joined the BC CCA Board in 2004. He possesses 20+ years of experience in leading and building contact center organizations in the business-to-consumer and business-to-business segments in North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. In his last role, Ian worked for eBay for two years as their Site Director, Customer Service based in Burnaby, BC. That site was closed and fully decommissioned in September 2009. eBay is recognized as the global leader in online auctions in the e-commerce space.
Prior to eBay, Ian was the Western Senior Manager, Sales for the enhanced voice portfolio with Rogers Communications. Prior to tha,t he was Rogers’ Manager of Business Development and initially employed as their Regional Enhanced Voice Solutions Consultant.
Ian has also worked in Europe as a senior manager for British Telecom in their Wholesale, Retail, and Major Business Divisions. While in Europe with BT, Ian was seconded to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA, UK), based in London, England and headed up the DMA's Interactive Media Division."
